Sony Pictures Television has tapped plus-size fashion retailer Torrid and Hot Topic to launch a new apparel line based on the Starz’s TV series “Outlander.”

The limited edition collection features pieces inspired by the series’ characters Claire Fraser, Jamie Fraser and the MacKenzie clan and includes dresses, coats, shirts, pullovers, capes, a cardigan and tunic.

“What we really love about ‘Outlander’ is that it takes place in two different time periods,” says Kate Horton, senior vice president, general merchandising manager, Torrid. “There was lots of inspiration to draw from in designing the fashion collection. Now fans can channel the style of their favorite character in fashion designed and fit on women sizes 10 to 30.”

The new “Outlander” collection is now available on Torrid.com, with select styles available on HotTopic.com.
