CBS Consumer Products, Showtime and retailer Hot Topic are planning a new apparel collaboration inspired by the Showtime series "Penny Dreadful."

Set to coincide with the premier of the second season May 3, the line will hit Hot Topic stores early next month and is now available for pre-order.

The collection of "Penny Dreadful"-inspired line of women’s clothing will include tanks, dresses and jackets that incorporate macabre imagery and themes from the show.

Hot Topic will promote the line with window displays, in-store signage, a Penny Dreadful necklace as a gift with purchase and a Pinterest sweepstakes where fans will be asked to create a board inspired by the show for a chance to win the entire collection.

“'Penny Dreadful' has a unique aesthetic that is really captured in this apparel collection,” says Liz Kalodner, executive vice president and general manager, CBS Consumer Products. “We’re excited to partner with a retailer like Hot Topic to give Penny Dreadful fans the ability to express their love of the show with such a stylish assortment.”

A host of other "Penny Dreadful"-inspired products are also launching beyond Hot Topic stores in a full retail program that includes books, games, home goods and collectibles.

Titan Books is publishing The Art and Making of Penny Dreadful, a behind-the-scenes book that unearths the show's secrets and dissects every aspect of the production. Also debuting this spring are "Penny Dreadful" table linens and home accessories from Museum of Robots; glassware, impulse and décor from Just Funky; and on-demand products from Gold Label.

Rolling out later this year will be trading cards from Cryptozoic; Clue: Penny Dreadful Edition and a sculpted scene of the “Rebirth of Brona” from USAopoly; expanding offerings from Bif Bang Pow! that will include new character action figures and prop replica-style journals; fashion dolls from Tonner Dolls; and a 2016 wall calendar from Rizzoli.

These new products will join an already robust lineup of apparel, jewelry, glassware and novelties available now at the online Showtime store.
