A range of notable guests attended the unveiling ceremony, which included a light show and fireworks, such as Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Caroline Kennedy, U.S. ambassador to Japan.
“It’s wonderful to be here tonight to celebrate another dimension of the United States-Japan alliance,” said Kennedy. “Harry Potter inspired a generation of children to love reading, and when they are not reading, I hope they come to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.”
