U.S. home and lifestyle brand HGTV will launch in New Zealand as a free channel available to the entire country.

The channel will launch in collaboration with Blue Ant Media and Scripps Networks Interactive. It will operate under management of Blue Ant’s broadcast channel, Choice TV.

HGTV will broadcast 24 hours a day, seven days a week on Freeview channel 17 beginning June 27.
