The Jim Henson Company has sold its new animated children’s series, “Doozers,” to Nickelodeon Australia, where the series has already begun airing on the network’s dedicated preschool channel, Nick Jr.

Inspired by the popular characters from the classic Henson series, “Fraggle Rock,” “Doozers” (52 x 11) is a new CG-animated series for preschoolers that follows four Doozers kids who live in Doozer Creek.

“Doozers” will also debut in multiple territories across Europe, the Middle East and Africa on Turner Broadcasting’s preschool channel, Cartoonito and Turner Enterprises will handle the licensing rights for the series in that region. In addition to debuting on Cartoonito and Nick Jr., the series is also set to debut on Discovery Kids Latin America and Cartoon Network Asia.
