HBO Global Licensing has tapped with asknet to manage it e-commerce engine and operations for the online HBO Shop in order to expand to all of Europe.

The partnership will allow HBO to serve its growing fanbase in Pan-Europe with multi-currency and multi-language options along with integration with shipping providers all over the EU.

The HBO Shop features branded merchandise including apparel, jewelry, glassware, games and premium collectaibles from acclaimed series such as “Game of Thrones,” “True Blood,” “Girls,” “Boardwalk Empire,” “Sex and the City” and “The Sopranos.” Over the past several years the shop has experienced rapid growth across several European markets, including the U.K. and Ireland, as well as increasing demand for product from fans across the continent.

“We are excited to work with asknet to help us continue to support our developing European and international licensing business,” says Diana Pessin, director of marketing and e-commerce, HBO Global Licensing. “Their international expertise will be invaluable as we strive to meet the needs and expectations of our extensive global fan base who are thirsting for new ways to engage with their favorite programming.”
