Hasbro Taps Black White Orange Brands as Agent in India

Licensing agent will manage properties such as NERF, “My Little Pony,” Transformers, Play-Doh, “Monopoly,” “Power Rangers” and Baby Alive in India.

Hasbro has appointed Black White Orange Brands as its licensing agent in India.

The two companies will work together to bring Hasbro’s consumer products program to life in the region. Black White Orange Brands will oversee licensing opportunities for Hasbro brands such as NERF, “My Little Pony,” Transformers, Play-Doh, “Monopoly,” “Power Rangers” and Baby Alive. The agency will initially focus on the apparel, accessories, back-to-school, promotional licensing, sporting goods and publishing categories.

“We could not be more thrilled to be entering the exciting and vibrant market that is India and having the opportunity to delight families across the country with our portfolio of lifestyle brands,” says Casey Collins, senior vice president and general manager, global consumer products, Hasbro.

Hasbro recently made License Global’s Top 150 Global Licensors list, ranking No. 6 with $7.1 billion in retail sales of licensed merchandise in 2018.
