Harry Potter Shop to Fly into Heathrow

Warner Bros. Consumer Products will debut a new permanent Harry Potter Shop in London’s Heathrow Airport this November.
The new store has been produced by Jonathan Sands, the chief executive of the Harry Potter Shop at Platform 9¾ King’s Cross Station.
The 600-sq. foot store will be located in Terminal 5 and will carry a host of products including collectibles, apparel, accessories, gifts, novelties and souvenirs from Platform 9 ¾ at King’s Cross Station and merchandise from the West End play “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts One and Two.” Products from the upcoming film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will also be available.
“Drawing on the huge success of the Platform 9 ¾ King’s Cross Station shop, we are delighted to be able to announce The Harry Potter Shop at Heathrow,” says Paul Bufton, vice president, licensing and business development EMEA, WBCP. “This exciting shopping experience will offer fans a wide range of products from souvenirs to collectibles, along with exclusive Platform 9 ¾-inspired products to take on their journeys as they travel the world.”
The Harry Potter Shop is slated to open in November before the release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which hits theaters Nov. 18.
