The Colorado-based manufacturer SkiLogik has released a limited edition line of Grateful Dead skis featuring artwork by Mariella that use the band’s iconic imagery.

The skis were developed in collaboration with Warner Music Group.

“The partnership with SkiLogik is a natural fit for us,” says Sara Nemerov, senior vice president and head of global consumer products and brand licensing, Warner Music Group. “We are always looking for unusually high-quality products that stand out from the pack. SkiLogik’s skis are unlike any others we’ve seen. We’re thrilled with their originality and believe Grateful Dead fans will love them.”

The numbered, personalized skis, which went on sale Tuesday, are available on any of SkiLogik’s 41 models and sizes in a limited run of 420.

“The Grateful Dead has always been a huge source of inspiration for me,” says David Mazzarella, SkiLogik’s founder and visionary ski designer. “I’ve seen them perform many times and, like Dead shows, no two pairs of our skis are exactly

the same. This is an opportunity for us to use our creativity to honor theirs.”
