The Fred Rogers Company is planning a second season of its preschool series "Peg + Cat" for PBS Kids.

The new season will feature 25 new episodes and a one-hour special and is set to begin airing in spring 206.

Additionally, PBS Kids will add new interactive games and digital storybooks featuring the series on its digital platforms.

“'Peg + Cat' furthers PBS Kids’ mission to use the power of media to open worlds of possibilities for all children,” says Lesli Rotenberg, general manager, children’s media, PBS. “Research shows that 'Peg + Cat’s' content helps build children’s understanding of important math concepts, which play a critical role in preparing them for success in school and in life.”
