Technicolor’s new children’s animated series “Atomic Puppet” has been pre-sold to France Télévisions.

Technicolor’s new children’s animated series “Atomic Puppet,” co-developed and produced with Canada’s Mercury Filmworks and France’s Gaumont Animation, has been pre-sold to France Télévisions.

The 52 x 11 series is currently in production and will begin airing in 2016.

In addition to France Télévisions the series will also air on Disney XD in the country as well on Teletoon in Canada and Disney XD in multiple other territories.

The series follows Model City’s fearless superhero who is transformed into a powerless puppet by his disgruntled sidekick. His powers are transferred to his biggest fan, 12-year-old Joey Felt, and together they form an awkward and comedic superhero team.
