Fans will be able to celebrate the cult TV series’ 20th anniversary with cosplay contests, trivia, improv, giveaways and more.
The “Buffy the Vampire Slayer: 20 Years of Slaying” fan event will be held Saturday, July 22, at Side Bar (536 Market Street) in the Gaslamp Quarter and will feature a host of activities including: a Buffy Fandom Feud Trivia Contest, Buffy Cosplay Contest, improv opportunities, themed drinks and cake, photo opportunities with life-size images, table-top board game competitions, wall-sized coloring book pages, giveaways and more.
Additionally, consumers will have the opportunity to preorder the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Complete Series 20th Anniversary Edition” DVD boxed set, which will be available Sept. 19.
