Y Entertainment Group has formed AGI Lifestyle Entertainment to exploit opportunities in non-scripted television and branded lifestyle segments.
The new company has tapped former WME partner Ken Slotnick as its chief executive officer.
AGI Lifestyle Entertainment will represent personalities, producers and projects in the non-scripted television, culinary, fashion, style, home and health and wellness categories for television packaging, commercial endorsements, personal appearances, licensing and merchandising, book publishing and digital.
The new company will share an expanded New York office space with sister company, Artist Group International, an independent live music entertainment agency.
Slotnick joins AGI Lifestyle Entertainment from WME where he represented a diverse roster of stars and producers in the TV and lifestyle space during his 13 years with the company.
"I'm excited to join the diverse entertainment world being built by Ron Burkle and Y Entertainment Group. AGI Lifestyle Entertainment is now part of this extraordinary entertainment eco-system, which opens the door for us to offer clients a multitude of unique opportunities to realize their career, brand and entrepreneurial goals," says Slotnick.
