Lisa Jacobson, former UTA partner and head of its licensing, branding and endorsement department, has left the agency to create a new boutique entertainment marketing firm.
The new business, Jacobson Brand Management & Consulting, will specialize in creating strategic marketing partnerships, celebrity endorsements and building lifestyle brands for select talent and corporate clients.
Additionally, Jacobson has entered a multi-year agreement with UTA to continue working as a branding and licensing consultant to the agency.
Prior to starting her own firm, Jacobson served 21 years with UTA and started its agent training program more than two decades ago. She founded the agency’s licensing, branding and endorsement department and ran the division since its formation. She also specialized in negotiating global marketing campaigns and brand collaborations in the fashion, beauty, retail and luxury goods sectors.
Jacobson will continue to represent clients Gwen Stefani, Turlington Burns, Dakota Fanning, Elle Fanning, Lori Greiner and Anna Kournikova at her new firm for endorsements, brand collaborations and lifestyle licensing.
