Classic movie franchise inspires worldwide tour, which is set to debut next year.
Universal Brand Development has partnered with Brand Events to debut a new global live-arena tour, called “Fast & Furious Live.”
By re-creating the underground streets of Los Angeles in multiple locations across the globe, the new show will aim to transport fans into some of the franchise’s most memorable scenes and stunts through blockbuster set designs, authentic digital projections and physical obstacles.
“‘Fast & Furious Live’ will transform the live-entertainment industry in the same way the global box-office franchise has redefined the action genre,” says Vince Klaseus, president, Universal Brand Development. “Fans will experience everything they love about the films in an up-close and incredibly cool live show, putting them in the center of the action.”
The global “Fast & Furious Live” tour is set to debut in January 2018. Further details, including tour stops, will be announced at a later date.
