Novel Entertainment has tapped Fashions U.K. to create a new line of "Horrid Henry"-branded apparel, in a deal brokered by Novel’s licensing agent Caroline Mickler.
The animated series, based on the books of the same name, is now in its fourth season on CITV.
Fashions U.K. will launch "Horrid Henry" t-shirts, pajamas, sweatshirts and socks at retail in April.
“Publishing properties have been having great success with Fashion U.K. recently, so we are very pleased to be now representing Horrid Henry," says Gurdev Mattu, managing director, Fashions U.K. "The huge awareness of the Horrid Henry franchise simply meant we couldn’t be missing out on taking this to market.”
Other key licensing partners for the brand include Abbey Home Media, Paul Lamond, Rubie's and H. Grossman.
