Fanattik Signs Global Merch Deal with Rebellion for ‘2000 AD.’
“2000 AD,” one of the world’s longest-running comics, will turn 50 in 2027.
Fanattik, a U.K.-based pop-culture company, has signed a global gift and collectibles license with Rebellion for “2000 AD,” the home of Judge Dredd and Rogue Trooper.
The licensee is already a partner with Universal Studios, Paramount Studios, Studio Toho, Hasbro, Netflix, Capcom, Konami, Microsoft and many others.
Published by U.K. comic book and video games company, Rebellion, “2000 AD” is one of the longest-running comics in the world, featuring characters, including Judge Dredd, Rogue Trooper, Strontium Dog and The ABC Warriors. First published in 1977, “The Galaxy’s Greatest Comic” will celebrate 50 years of publication in 2027.
Pop-culture retailers can get a sneak peak of the range at the Fanattik stand at Nuremberg Toy Fair and Spring Fair in the U.K. early next year.
