Family Entertainment Live and Mattel have announced Monster High Live, a national tour kicking off in September. Full Stop Productions has been tapped to create and design the touring production centered on Mattel’s globally celebrated IP.

“There is nothing quite like experiencing a live event with thousands of fans who love the same characters and storylines as you,” says Ken Hudgens, chief executive officer, Family Entertainment Live. “In teaming up with Mattel and Full Stop Productions, we’re able to translate Monster High to the stage and bring fans together, in person, for the first time.”

Monster High Live will deliver music, dancing and the messages of acceptance and inclusion to fans. The news marks the second time Family Entertainment Live and Mattel have collaborated, having presented the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live national tour in 2019.

The cast of Monster High Live will take the franchise’s stars, Clawdeen Wolf, Draculaura and Frankie Stein through a storyline centered on preparing for the school’s annual Monster Ball. Music from the film and animated series and radio pop songs will be featured.

Monster High Live launches on the heels of “Monster High The Movie,” a live-action musical. “Monster High,” an animated series based on the Mattel IP, is currently airing on Nickelodeon.

Production on both a new season of Nickelodeon’s animated series, “Monster High,” and a sequel to “Monster High The Movie” are underway.

“We were so excited to relaunch Mattel’s iconic ‘Monster High’ franchise in 2022 to the delight of fans all around the world,” says Julie Freeland, senior director, global location-based entertainment, Mattel. “In a short time, the brand has already delivered new, highly popular dolls, an animated series and a live-action movie musical. We're thrilled that Monster High is hitting the road, extending this exciting franchise relaunch into a live experience for families nationwide.”
