K and K Promotions has entered into a representation agreement with film and television producer Network Entertainment and Reeder Brand Management for the Evel Knievel brand.

“My father was truly an awe-inspiring character and an original in every sense of the word, and his legacy has grown even more amazing over the years,” says Kelly Knievel, president, K and K Promotions. “We believe that now is the perfect time to bring forward Evel Knievel’s message that anything is possible, in partnership with the world’s finest companies that share my dad’s values.”

Under the agreement, Network Entertainment and Reeder Brand Management will develop and implement traditional licensing programs using the name and likeness of Evel Knievel. The two companies will also look to create new original content around the legendary daredevil in an effort to offer tailored solutions to brands.

K and K Promotions controls all intellectual property, rights of publicity and worldwide trademarks of Evel Knievel.

“I have been fortunate to work with many of the world’s greatest icons, and Evel Knievel is certainly in that rarefied company,” says David Reeder, managing director, Reeder Brand Management. “As the licensing of cultural icons continues to grow, I have always believed that the missing component in taking this business to the next level is the creation of original and new compelling content to complement existing archival footage.”
