ASIA–Epic Rights and Pan Inc. have joined forces to develop a variety of merchandising and branding opportunities for musical artists in Japan.

The new partnership will see Pan bring licensing and branding opportunities spanning fashion, themed restaurants and cafes, TV commercials, sponsorships and endorsements to Epic Rights’ artists and properties. The deal will also see the company manage Epic Rights’ e-commerce and Rock Paper Photo fine art photography businesses in the region.

Additionally, Pan is set to open the first Rock & Brews concert-themed restaurant in Japan in 2018.

“We are very excited to combine the efforts of our two companies to build strong revenue streams and generate new opportunities for western artists, entertainment brands and celebrities in the growing Japanese market,” says Dell Furano, chief executive officer of Epic Rights, and Kunihiro Tsuji, chief executive officer of Pan Inc.

Epic Rights is known for its all-star clients including Madonna, Céline Dion, KISS, AC/DC, Eric Clapton, Aerosmith, Lionel Richie, Billy Joel and the Estates of John Lennon, David Bowie and Stevie Ray Vaughn. The company also represents music brands such as Woodstock, CBGB, Rock & Brews and fine art photography Rock Paper Photo.
