The Echo Base Foundation, which organizes events based on the Star Wars film franchise, has unveiled details regarding Echo Base Charity Con, which will benefit Force for Change, the charitable initiative from Lucasfilm and Disney for Unicef.

The event will take place Dec. 16, 2017, at the Kinepolis Jaarbeurs movie theater in Utrecht, Netherlands.

During the event, Kinepolis Jaarbeurs will be transformed into a “Valhalla for Star Wars enthusiasts” and will feature autograph signings, Q&A sessions, cosplay opportunities, a raft of merchandise and a special auction for Force for Change.

The event will also celebrate the 40th anniversary of Star Wars’ premiere in Dutch cinemas as well as the new film Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Echo Base has also revealed the first actors that will be present at the event–Jeremy Bulloch, who played Boba Fett, and Tim Rose, who plays Admiral Ackbar.

The Echo Base Foundation was established in 2017 to organize events based on the Star Wars universe. It was previously active from 2000 to 2005 and engaged in the Dutch Star Wars fan club Echo Base and the organization of Star Wars conventions, called Echo Base (Charity) Con.

All proceeds from Echo Base events will be donated to a charity established by the board.
