DreamWorks Animation is expanding its partnership with licensing agency Compañía Panamericana de Licencias to include representation in Brazil.

CPL already serves as the licensing agent for DWA properties in Bolivia, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela and Mexico.

The new alliance marks CPL’s first foray into Brazilian licensing and will be led by industry veteran Herbert Greco, who plans to build a team of 15 dedicated to the licensing, retail sales and marketing of DWA properties in the country.

“We enjoy a wonderful relationship with CPL throughout Latin America and believe they are perfectly suited to drive our business in Brazil,” says Jonathan Baker, head of international consumer products, DreamWorks Animation. “As DreamWorks Animation establishes itself as a global family entertainment brand, we continue to implement our 365 strategy at retail worldwide with the help of top agents like CPL.”
