DreamWorks Animation has teamed with video game publisher Little Orbit and developer Vicious Cycle to create a game inspired by the Kung Fu Panda franchise.

Set to hit shelves this fall, the martial arts game, "Kung Fu Panda : Showdown of Legendary Legends," will initially feature characters from the first two Kung Fu Panda films. New film-specific content will be added when Kung Fu Panda 3 is released in January 2016.

With both local and online, multi-player levels, the game will be centered on an epic tournament where warriors from the film franchise will compete against one another.

"Kung Fu Panda : Showdown of Legendary Legends" will be available this fall for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and Steam.

"We are very proud to team up with DreamWorks Animation to extend the world of Kung Fu Panda in a new exciting way," says Matt Scott, chief executive officer, Little Orbit. "This is a perfect match-up to bring this extraordinary series to gamers who love a great multi-player martial arts game."
