DQE Adds Production Partners

 DQ Entertainment has announced two new co-production partnerships with ZDF Enterprises and  Rollman Entertainment.

DQE Adds Production Partners

DQE is teaming up with ZDF to create a new animated/live-action TV series called “The Jungle Book Safari.”

Aimed at children ages 6- to 10-years-old, the series will feature documentary footage of animals in short, non-fiction segments that will be combined with animated sequences from DQE’s fiction series “The Jungle Book.”

DQE International also announced a new partnership with Rollman Entertainment USA for the development, production, distribution, licensing and merchandising of animated and live-action TV series, feature films and new media content.

The two companies hope to develop five television series through 2016 and a slate of animated features.

REI and DQE currently work together on “NFL Rush Zone,” which air on Nicktoons in the U.S., and

The Jungle Book

theatrical animated feature, currently in pre-production.

In addition to these two new

partnerships DQE has also announced a slew of sales for its existing series.

DQE International has signed an exclusive broadcasting agreement with Nick India for two seasons of “The Jungle Book,” the soccer series “Galactik Football” and the cricket series “Suraj The Rising Star,” which also airs on Viacom 18’s Colors channel.

Italian children's channel DeA Italy has picked up DQE’s new stereoscopic TV series "The New Adventures of Peter Pan." DeA will have broadcast, video and licensing and merchandising rights to the series for Italy and Italian-speaking Europe.

Israeli content provider Noga Communications has bought the broadcast rights to season two of “The Jungle Book,” “The Jungle Book” TV special, “Robin Hood” and “5 & IT.”

Work Point in Thailand has picked up the second season of “The Jungle Book” and “The Jungle Book Safari.”

Finally, RTM (Escalada) in Malaysia has bought the free TV rights of the first season of “The Jungle Book.”
