'Downton' Costumes Go on Tour

A touring exhibition celebrating the history behind the ITV series "Downton Abbey" will make its world premiere at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, N.C., Feb. 5.

"Dressing Downton:  Changing Fashion for Changing Times" will showcase nearly 40 period costumes and jewelry from the TV drama.

Produced by Exhibits Development Group, the exhibition has been developed in collaboration with costumier Cosprop, the Museum of London, NBCUniversal International Television Production and Carnival Films/PBS Masterpiece’s "Downton Abbey."

The exhibit will be on display at the Biltmore Estate through May 25 and will then tour across North America through 2017.
