DMG Snaps Up Valiant Entertainment

NORTH AMERICA--DMG Entertainment has acquired Valiant Entertainment, the third largest superhero entertainment company in the world, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

 X-O Manowar, Bloodshot and Harbinger are now controlled by DMG founder Dan Mintz.

NORTH AMERICA–DMG Entertainment has acquired Valiant Entertainment, the third largest superhero entertainment company in the world, according to The Hollywood Reporter. 

Under the terms of the acquisition, DMG will take control of Valiant’s library of more than 2,000 superhero characters including X-O Manowar, Bloodshot, Harbinger, Shadowman, Archer & Armstrong and more.

Prior to the acquisition, DMG founder Dan Mintz held a singinficant stake in Valliant. The acquisition underscores a company initiative to increase its presence in the superhero entertainment market.

Current Valiant movie and television projects in development include the previously announced Bloodshot and Harbinger feature films from Sony Pictures, as well as projects with CBS Studios and the CW.
