Discovery Communications has teamed up with the production company behind the Discovery Channel series “The Devils Ride,” Bischoff Hervey Entertainment Television, to develop a consumer products program for the show.

The program will not only feature branding from the reality series itself, but also the motorcycle clubs that have been featured in the past two seasons–Laffing Devils, Sinister Mob Syndicate, Knockout Motorcycles and FastBoyz.

The two company’s have already found their first partner, Changes, which is developing a line of apparel and accessories including t-shirts, sweatshirts, fashion tops, belt buckles, dog tags, key chains and bandanas. The line is set to hit shelves this summer at specialty stores, motorcycle dealers and retailers.

Discovery and Bischoff Hervey plan to extend the Devil’s Ride line later this year to include after-market car and motorcycle accessories.

“Partnering with Bischoff Hervey allows us to fulfill a niche with consumers for both The Devils Ride product and lines from their favorite clubs featured on the show,” says Elizabeth Bakacs, vice president, Discovery Channel Licensing. “‘The Devils Ride’ has passionate viewers within the motorcycle community, and our goal is to continue bringing on licensees like Changes to develop a lifestyle brand that fans and motorcycle enthusiasts alike can enjoy.”

The reality show introduces viewers to the world of motorcycle clubs and follows the biker war that is developing in the streets of San Diego, Calif.
