DHX Media has tapped The Orchard to distribute more than 8,000 episodes from its library content, as well as newly produced and acquired series, on digital platforms in the U.S., Latin America, South Africa, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The Orchard will be the worldwide digital distributor of more than 2,000 tracks of children’s music from DHX’s current library.

“With the global proliferation of digital entertainment platforms, it is imperative to team up with selected companies that offer specific expertise," says Josh Scherba, senior vice president, distribution, DHX Media. "The Orchard is a pioneering distribution business, ideally positioned to help expand the availability of DHX shows and music in the digital space.”

Among the series included in the deal are "Caillou," "Yo Gabba Gabba!," "Teletubbies," "Inspector Gadget" and "Johnny Test," as well as music from "Caillou," "The Doodlebops," "Strawberry Shortcake" and "In the Night Garden."
