DHX Media, A Stark Production and Technicolor, an underlying rights holder, have greenlit the second season of “The Deep.”
The new season will continue to follow the adventures of the Nekton family–a team of underwater explorers. With their state-of-the-art technology and thirst for discovery, the Nektons explore the depths of the ocean, where most of our world lies unexplored and unexplained.
The new season will air on Australia’s ABC, Germany’s SuperRTL, Canada’s Family CHRGD and Netflix in the U.S.
Additionally, CPLG has been appointed to serve as the licensing agent for the series in North and Latin America and EMEA (excluding Germany).
