Cartoon Network Entertainment has appointed Corus’ Nelvana as the exclusive merchandising agent for the channel’s top brands in Canada.

Canada’s Corus company will become exclusive licensing agent for “The Powerpuff Girls” and “Adventure Time” and others.

Cartoon Network Enterprises has appointed Corus’ Nelvana as the exclusive merchandising agent for the channel’s top brands in Canada.

Nelvana will now develop an array of licensed merchandise for Cartoon Network’s properties in Canada timed to the the re-launch of CNE’s “The Powerpuff Girls” this fall and “Ben 10” next year. Nelvana will also seek out new categories for licensing including secondary and seasonal toys, soft lines, food and beverage, sporting goods and consumer electronics.
