Cartoon Network has greenlighted “Summer Camp Island,” a new animated series based on an original short created by animator and illustrator Julia Pott (“Adventure Time”).
Screened as part of the Animated Shorts Films category at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, the short will now extend into a series and continue unfolding the mysteries that Oscar and his best friend Hedgehog encounter at a magical summer camp where camp counselors are witches, horses become unicorns and monsters live under the bed.
