Turner’s Cartoon Network EMEA has unveiled new details about the Cartoon Network Zone at the IMG Worlds of Adventures in Dubai, which will open Aug. 15.

Created in partnership with Ilyas & Mustafa Galadari Group, the theme park was first announced in July 2014.

The partnership between Cartoon Network and the IMG Worlds of Adventures will see Cartoon Network’s shows “Ben 10,” “Adventure Time,” “The Powerpuff Girls” and “The Amazing World of Gumball” brought to life through interactive rides and entertainment including:

  • Ben 10 5D ride Hero Time, which will immerse audiences in a real-life battle between Ben and Rook in a 5D multi-sensory theater experience,

  • Mojo Jojo’s Robot Rampage, which will allow fans to ride with the Powerpuff Girls to help fight Mojo Jojo’s evil robot creation.

  • The Ride of Ooo with Finn and Jake, which will be a scenic ride above the park.

  • The Amazing Ride of Gumball, which is an interactive remote game where fans can zap objects that are threatening to take over the town of Elmore.

In addition to the rides and entertainment, the Cartoon Network zone will feature a range of branded restaurants and retail locations including the world’s largest “Ben 10” retail store.

IMG Worlds of Adventure’s 1.5 million-square-foot project will be the world’s largest temperate controlled, indoor, themed entertainment destination with a capacity to host more than 30,000 guests.

“After working closely with IMG over the past few years, we’re extremely excited to be getting close to the park’s official opening,” says Johanne Broadfield, vice president, EMEA, Cartoon Network. “Throughout the process, IMG has matched our passion and ambition to bring Cartoon Network’s iconic brands to life, and the attraction is a significant milestone in our strategy to delivery more immersive fan experiences for kids and families. We’re confident that the Cartoon Network Zone will build upon the channels’ already strong position in the Middle East and that both the young and the young at heart will be delighted when the park opens its gates this August.”
