The Collegiate Licensing Company has extended its deal with the Utah college for another decade.

The Collegiate Licensing Company, the licensing affiliate of IMG College, has extended its global partnership with Brigham Young University for an additional 10 years. CLC began partnering with BYU on its trademark licensing program in 1981.

Officially licensed product for BYU is now sold at more than 883 retail locations, an increase of more the 100 percent since 2013, says CLC.

“BYU has been a leader in the licensing industry, and CLC is extremely excited to continue our long-lasting partnership with one of our first partner institutions,” says Denise Lamb, vice president, CLC. “BYU has been extremely dedicated in continuing to invest in its licensing program, and CLC is honored to work with a partner that deeply engages CLC’s resources.”

Revenue from the sale of BYU licensed merchandise supports academics and scholarships at the university.

CLC represents nearly 200 collegiate institutions including 30 bowl games, the NCAA and the College Football Playoff.
