Coolabi plans social promotion for news series' recently launched product line.
Coolabi Group is planning a Christmas-themed "Clangers" Facebook campaign–12 Days of Brilliant Surprises–to support the property's new product range.
The campaign will be hosted on Facebook and promoted across Twitter, Pinterest and Clangers.com beginning Dec. 1 and will tie in with the release of The Brilliant Surprise book by Penguin.
Every day for 12 days, "Clangers" fans will have a chance to win new merchandise from licensees such as Signature Entertainment DVDs (signed by the show’s narrator Michael Palin), a bundle of "Clangers" toys from Character Options and Duvet sets from Dreamtex. Coolabi has also worked with partners to offer the chance to win a Merlin Family annual pass, a family set of Innocent Smoothies lunch boxes and vouchers and a "Hoot" prop used in the making of the new "Clangers" TV series, which launched on CBeebies in June.
