Hasbro Studios rolled out the purple carpet for the world premiere of the new film My Little Pony Equestria Girls Friendship Games at the Angelika Film Center in New York City.

Celebrities including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Nick Cannon, Padma Lakshmi, Jim Gaffigan, Tiki Barber, Nigel Barker, Drea de Matteo and Tracy Anderson were among those at the screening. The film will debut on Sept. 26 on the Discovery Family Channel.
