New app lets fans of the Showtime series enter the Demimonde.

Just in time for Halloween, Midverse Studios and Ever Dead Studios have launched the new mobile game "Penny Dreadful: Demimonde" based on the Showtime TV series.

"Penny Dreadful: Demimonde," developed under license by CBS Consumer Products and Showtime, allows fans to engage with their favorite characters and content from the series in ways that complement and enhance the overall "Dreadful" experience.

Quests inside the game are based on individual episodes of the show, resulting in a unique “Play and Watch” experience.  As players complete quests for an episode on their mobile devices, they can easily link to and watch that episode directly on Apple iTunes or Google Play.

The "Penny Dreadful: Demimonde" app is now available in the Apple App Store and Google Play.

“The gothic look and horror themes in 'Penny Dreadful' are a perfect fit for a game released during the Halloween season,” says Rizwan Virk, co-founder and chief executive officer, Midverse Studios. “The graphics, user experience, and gameplay allow the player to feel they are entering the dark and mysterious world of the Demimonde, a half world between reality and the supernatural introduced in the series."
