Bulldog Licensing has sown the seeds of a new deal for the CBeebies character Mr. Bloom with fancy dress supplier Little Babas.

Little Babas will develop a dress-up range for kids that will launch in spring/summer 2014, and will mark the company’s first foray into the licensing sector.

“The fact that Little Babas has chosen Mr. Bloom for its first-ever licensed range is testament to the huge popularity of the brand,” says Vicky Hill, licensing executive, Bulldog Licensing. "Both little ones and parents alike love Mr. Bloom so this new dress-up range will have very strong appeal.”

The dress-up line will join existing product for the CBeebies series that also includes greetings and calendars from Portico, publishing from Random House, home entertainment from Abbey Home Media and a series of live events.

The series combines live-action and puppetry to introduce children to the experience of nurturing plans. The fourth season of “Mr. Bloom’s Nursery” will begin airing in early 2014.
