Nickelodeon has sold both new and old episodes of the "SpongeBob SquarePants" TV series to new broadcasters around the world.

Despite starring on big screens around the world, SpongeBob SquarePants hasn’t forgotten his roots in television. In fact, Nickelodeon has sold both new and old episodes of the movie star's TV series to new broadcasters around the world.

France Télévisions will be reintroducing "SpongeBob SquarePants" on its network, while China will introduce the series as part of a deal signed by TianJinShi Team Shine Culture Communication for seasons one through seven on the JiaJia Cartoon channel.

In Russia, seasons one through five have found a new home on 2x2. The property also airs on the Nickelodeon-branded block on TNT in the region.

Finally, Maori TV in New Zealand has added seasons four and five

"SpongeBob SquarePants" currently airs in more than 170 countries in 30 different languages and the brand's first feature film, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water is in theaters now.
