Since its launch in 2006, BabyFirst is now available in more than 80 million homes in 33 countries and offers a full suite of products that include online and mobile content, in addition to its television offerings.
“When we started building the BabyFirst network, our goal was to provide American parents with rich, innovative educational content designed to inspire their baby’s development in a delightful and engaging way,” says Guy Oranim, chief executive officer and co-founder, BabyFirst. “This new path into licensing will allow BabyFirst to deliver its popular characters, educational themes and lifestyle guides in the form of actual products, in addition to the wide variety of content we offer.”
BabyFirst is the latest addition to Brand Central’s roster of baby and TV brands, which include leading nursery designer Petit Tresor and the pacifier brand NUK.
“BabyFirst has created one of the most successfulbrands in the market, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to represent such an influential market leader in this space,” says Ross Misher, chief executive officer, Brand Central. “BabyFirst offers access to rich, identifiable characters which will translate into engaging interactive consumer products–we are confident our partnership will continue to generate new opportunities for babies and toddlers as they explore their world.”
