New cartoon brand, entitled “Gross Empires,” secures first agent in the Benelux territory.

EUROPE–Imaginators.tv has tapped BN Licensing to represent its new kids cartoon IP created by U.K. cartoonist Beairdo, called “Gross Empires,” in the Benelux region.

“Gross Empires” is set in three worlds–which all lie behind the bedroom doors of two brothers and their little sister–and follows the stories of each empire and its inhabitants. The brand is currently featured as a series of mini episodes, books and more.

“Thirty seconds into the ‘Gross Empires’ pitch I was instantly convinced that BN Licensing should become part of this amazing new brand,” says David Speijer, chief executive officer, BN Licensing. “Beairdo has created a new universe that is well thought through and has the potential for all merchandising categories.”

BN Licensing will also be representing “Gross Empires” during Brand Licensing Europe, Oct. 10-12.

“I am delighted to confirm ‘Gross Empires’ shall be represented in Benelux by BN Licensing for consumer products, says Beairdo, founder, Imaginators.tv, and creator of “Gross Empires.” “I have an enormous amount of respect for David Speijer, chief executive officer of BN Licensing, and his father Cyril, who was an inductee to the 2017 LIMA Hall of Fame. They are perfect ambassadors for the brand and know the cartoon market in Benelux better than anyone else.”
