Warner Bros. Consumer Products has tapped a raft of licensees and fashion retailers for new collections inspired by the classic “Looney Tunes” brand.

First, Zara has expanded its retail collection with the launch of its first women’s fashion range with a line of denim items as well as Tweety- and Porky Pig-inspired bags and Wile E Coyote-branded sneakers.

Meanwhile, 1,700 Mango locations will also carry a host of branded women’s ranges, with further growth planned for 2017.

Additionally, retailers including Primark, H&M, Codello and Oviesse will also expand their collaborations to include a variety of items for men, women and children.

Meanwhile, Iceberg has unveiled its fall/winter 2016 collection for men and women that includes knitewear and t-shirts featuring Marvin the Martian, Sylvester and Daffy Duck.

Paul & Joe will debut a range of dresses, skirts, shirts, denim and sweats featuring Sylvester and Tweety. Pull & Bear has created fashion t-shirts for men and women and Sugarbird has unveiled a large-print range of dresses and a trouser suit for women.

“The ‘Looney Tunes’ characters are iconic and instantly recognized by consumers of all ages,” says Julian Moon, senior vice president, WBCP EMEA. “It’s this level of recognition and passion for these characters, their personalities and what they represent, that enables us to impact a cross-generational appeal. Our fashion partners know and love these characters and want to capture the essence and value that they bring to their collections and designs.”
