Playmates will kick off the series’ U.K. licensing program, with publishing, home, apparel and more to follow.

EUROPE–Universal Brand Development has unveiled the first details of its U.K. consumer products program for the animated series “DreamWorks Voltron Legendary Defender.”

Kicking off the program is global master toy partner Playmates, which has tapped Flair to handle the U.K. product distribution beginning in April 2018. The upcoming range will consist of several die-cast figures that can be collected and combined to form a 16-inch Voltron. Role play toys will also be available.

Following the toy launch, the series’ consumer products program will be further expanded into categories including publishing, home entertainment, apparel, home, party and fast moving consumer goods.
