BBC Earth and Tauck will co-design a series of journeys that build on the travel specialist’s existing portfolio of trips by drawing on expertise from the natural history filmmakers at the BBC.
In addition to the voyage, travelers will enjoy enhanced BBC Earth content including specially created videos, educational components and hands-on usage of field equipment.
The partners will begin marketing the travel experiences this fall, with initial destinations including South Africa and Botswanaincluding the Okavango Delta and the Kalahari Desert; Kenya and Tanzania; the polar bears of Manitoba Canada; and the Antarctic. Additional locales will be added at a later date to cover other major destinations featured in BBC Earth’s natural history series.
