Nick Jr. series will add a full range of toys to support its growing U.S. fan base.

BBC Worldwide North America has named Jazwares as the master toy licensee in the U.S. and Canada for the Nick Jr. series “Hey Duggee.”

The new range of toys will highlight the series’ main characters–Duggee, Happy, Norrie, Roly, Tag and Betty–and will initially consist of collectible figures, vehicles, small plush and a 12-inch feature plush Duggee with sounds. The line will also debut with a Squirrel Club play set, which features three floors and closes for convenience with a handle to carry it.

“We recognize Jazwares as a passionate company with a focus on creativity, innovation and quality, which is why we entrusted them to bring such a special brand–‘Hey Duggee’–to life,” says Carla Peyton, senior vice president, licensing, BBC Worldwide North America.

“We are thrilled to work with BBC Worldwide North America on ‘Hey Duggee,’ an exciting, adventurous new property,” says Laura Zebersky, chief commercial officer, Jazwares. “The fun-filled toys we create will only amplify the experiences found in the show, encouraging kids to play and laugh and learn through doing.”
