BBC Worldwide has appointed Fisher-Price as the global master toy licensee for its new animated preschool series "Go Jetters."

Set to debut on CBeebies this fall, "Go Jetters" originally launched on the CBeebies website and features a plot driven by geographical features and concepts.

"'Go Jetters' is a unique program and this global deal with Fisher-Price demonstrates our commitment to working with world-class partners to develop fantastic toys that enhance children's experience of their favorite shows," says Marcus Arthur, managing director, the U.K. and Australia New Zealand, BBC Worldwide. "We know there’s a strong international appetite for animation and are looking forward to delivering a successful licensing program.”

The Fisher-Price product line will debut in fall/winter 2016 in the U.K. with rollout in other markets, including the U.S., expected to follow thereafter. The planned line will include electronic and non-electronic plastic figurines and vehicles, toys, play sets and feature and standard plush.

The series follows four plucky heroes, Xuli, Kyan, Lars and Foz, as they travel the world, unraveling the plans of their nemesis Grandmaster Glitch alongside their mentor and friend, Ubercorn–a disco-grooving unicorn.

“We’re happy to be partnering with BBC once again to bring the great content of 'Go Jetters' to life through playtime with our toys,” says Susie Lecker, senior vice president, global marketing and design, Fisher-Price. “Particularly exciting to us is the strong early childhood development component we can tuck into our toys encouraging social, emotional and cognitive skill building as children have fun exploring.”
