Children’s animated series grows in North America with apparel and home products.
BBC Worldwide North American has tapped two new licensees–Children’s Apparel Network and Jay Franco–to launch a series of apparel items inspired by kids’ series “Hey Duggee.”
Under the terms of the agreements, Children’s Apparel Network will develop lines of girls’ and boys’ apparel, swimwear, layettes and outerwear.
Meanwhile, Jay Franco will produce a range of bedding, bath goods, beach products and storage products.
“We are so proud of ‘Hey Duggee’ and all its well-deserved accolades,” says Carla Peyton, senior vice president, licensing, BBC Worldwide North America. “Children’s Apparel Network and Jay Franco are brilliant partners for this wonderful show and we’re looking forward to an exciting future for the brand. We know that fans will love the products that these two new partners will create.”
Additionally, a new episode of “Hey Duggee” will premiere on Nick Jr. tonight, with episodes from the first season continuing to air regularly on weekdays and Saturdays.
