New partnerships will bring the preschool brand to confectionery, homewares and live events.

BBC Worldwide Australia and New Zealand has secured three new licensees to create merchandise inspired by its preschool series “Hey Duggee.”

First, MacDonald Imports will create a “Hey Duggee” children’s dinnerware and infant feeding range that includes plates, bowls and tumblers. The collection is slated to launch in Australia later this year.

Meanwhile, Kinnerton Confectionery will release a line of branded seasonal products in Australia. The confectionery range will hit retailers in time for Christmas 2017.

Finally, live event producer The Entertainment Store will host non-ticketed character appearances at retail and special events throughout the region.

Additionally, Jasnor will continue to distribute “Hey Duggee” soft toys, character figurines and play sets in the region, with books published through Penguin Random House.

“With its colorful and loveable characters and engaging, entertaining stories, ‘Hey Duggee’ has proven to be a global hit with kids and adults alike,” says Brigid Roberts, manager, licensing and sponsorship, BBC Worldwide ANZ. “We’re very excited to be working with MacDonald Imports, Kinnerton Confectionery and The Entertainment Store to bring some fantastic new products to Duggee’s many fans in Australia.”
