The Endemol Shine Group has officially launched AwesomenessTV in the U.K., Spain, France, Germany and Brazil.

AwesomenessTV is owned by DreamWorks Animation (75 percent) and Hearst (25 percent).

The regional expansions are part of a partnership announced last year between Endemol Shine and AwesomenessTV that is designed to extend the international reach of the digital brand.

As part of the launch, Endemol Shine Beyond, the digital production and distribution arm of the Endemol Shine Group, of will unveil local-language versions of the Gen Z brand with new and original content in each country. The five-country launch will already include local-language versions of several formats such as “Celebstagram,” the interview-based strand “IMO” and more.

“We are extremely proud of our alliance with AwesomenessTV and are thrilled to be launching simultaneously in five countries,” says Wim Ponnet, group director, commercial and strategy, Endemol Shine. “Using our creative talents across the group we have got some really exciting formats which going forward we will be able to roll out worldwide.”
