Cirque du Soleil has teamed with Twentieth Century Fox for its newest touring show, which will be inspired by the James Cameron film Avatar.

The show, called "Avatar: Toruk–The First Flight," will debut in November and travel to cities across the U.S. and Canada through the end of the year and into 2016.

The show is set thousands of years before the events depicted in the film and centers on the Toruk, the Na'vi world for the leonopteryx, the mighty red and orange predator that rules the Pandoran sky. The show will follow the Na'vi as they ride one of these great creatures for the first time.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale Thursday for Cirque Club members and later in the year for the general public.
