King Features will actively be seeking licensees in apparel, footwear, electronics, toys, stationery and more for the brand at this year’s Licensing Expo.

Archie Comics has renewed its licensing representation agreement with King Features Syndicate across the U.S. and Canada.

Current deals for the brand include apparel for adults and children from Threadless, stationery and calendars from Walter Foster Publishing, puzzles from Outset Media, slot machines from Zynga and more.

Furthermore, King Features will be exhibiting at Licensing Expo, May 23-25, at Booth #D154 and will be actively seeking licensees in such categories as apparel and accessories, footwear, electronics, beauty, digital, toys and games, stationery and promotions.

“Archie, Betty, Veronica, and the whole Riverdale gang continue to be a pop culture sensation around the world and, with the success of The CW’s ‘Riverdale’ series, demand for the brand is at an all-time high,” says Carla Silva, vice president and general manager, global head of licensing, King Features. “We are excited to continue representing Archie to bring fans’ Riverdale fix to retail through fun and unique product lines.”

Although more than 75 years old, Archie Comics continues to appeal to old and new fans alike. In July 2015, the brand was revamped and received a new look to appeal to today’s generation. The CW also debuted a new television series in January 2017, titled “Riverdale,” that has already been renewed for a second season.

Furthermore, a new comic book series, called “Your Pal Archie,” is set to debut this summer.
